T012 – Standard DTS (DIO)
The Standard DTS room at QUT is designed for medium-sized teaching sessions, comfortably accommodating 10 to 25 participants. It features a high-quality Panasonic projector that delivers sharp visuals, making it ideal for lectures and presentations. The room is equipped with an AMX touch panel that simplifies control over all AV functions, allowing instructors to easily manage the setup. A Bose sound system with four ceiling speakers ensures clear audio throughout the room, while a Lumens document camera provides the flexibility to display physical documents and objects. The space supports BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with wireless connectivity via a Microsoft Wireless Adaptor, making it easy for students and teachers to connect their laptops or other devices. For content management, the room is fitted with an AMX presentation switcher and digital decoder, ensuring seamless switching between different sources such as the PC, laptop, or USB inputs. The inclusion of AV over IP technology and a Cisco network switch ensures reliable and high-quality content distribution across the room. Innomate’s Innomesh platform oversees the room’s AV infrastructure, offering proactive monitoring and management to prevent any disruptions during use. The room also includes additional features like an occupancy sensor for energy efficiency and a Williams hearing augmentation system to support inclusivity for all users. This makes the room a comprehensive and dependable teaching space that meets the needs of modern education environments.
