The Large Teaching Space at QUT is a cutting-edge environment designed for dynamic teaching sessions, accommodating 25 to 100 participants. It features a high-definition Panasonic projector for clear visuals and a Shure microphone array for superior audio capture. The room’s AV setup is managed through a Q-SYS DSP for smooth audio processing, with Kramer’s matrix switcher efficiently handling multiple AV sources. Control is centralized via the AMX touch panel, which also manages environmental settings. Additional tools like the Lumens document camera and Magewell TX encoder enhance interactivity, while a Meraki network switch supports robust connectivity. The room is BYOD-friendly, equipped with Shure wireless receivers and microphones to accommodate various teaching styles. Innomate’s Innomesh platform underpins the AV monitoring and management, offering real-time control through AVaaS and UCaaS solutions.
