
T027 – Large Collaborative Teaching Space
The Teaching Collaborative Room at UQ is a large, multifunctional space designed for hybrid learning, accommodating up to 100 participants. Tailored for educational institutions, this state-of-the-art room integrates advanced AV and Unified Communications (UC) technologies, ideal for both in-person and remote learning. It features a Logitech webcam, BYOD support, and a Dell PC as the computing hub, all controlled via a Crestron touch panel. The Crestron matrix switcher ensures seamless video distribution, while a Biamp Tesira processor and JBL speakers deliver crystal-clear audio. Instructors benefit from Shure lapel, handheld, and lectern microphones, with content capture managed by Magewell’s Capture and Echo360. The room also includes Extron components for signal transmission and audio amplification. Managed by Innomate’s Innomesh platform, with AVaaS and UCaaS monitoring, this design ensures reliable, high-performance hybrid learning environments.
