The Computer Lab at QUT is an advanced teaching space designed to accommodate up to 20 people. This room is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology to support dynamic and interactive learning. Key features include a Panasonic projector, paired with a motorized screen for high-quality visual presentations. An AMX controller and AMX touch panel provide intuitive AV Room Control and easy management of the room’s various devices. The lab’s audio setup is enhanced by a Soundblaster USB audio controller and a JBL amplifier, delivering clear and powerful sound through two generic speakers. The Radiolabs microphone receiver and Williams hearing augmentation system ensure excellent audio support for all participants. For seamless content sharing, the room includes AMX encoders and decoders, enabling Audio Video over IP (AVoIP) capabilities. Additional equipment includes a lectern PC, Extron cable cubby and a Microsoft wireless presenter, supporting various input methods and devices. The integration with Innomate’s Innomesh platform facilitates comprehensive AV Room Monitoring and Management, supported by AVaaS and UCaaS services, ensuring the lab’s optimal performance and reliability.
