The Hybrid Teaching Space at Queensland University of Technology is a versatile, medium-sized room designed to support a range of educational activities, with a strong focus on hybrid learning. Ideal for teaching groups of 10 to 25 people, this space seamlessly blends in-person and remote learning. The room is equipped with a Panasonic projector and an AMX touch panel, providing easy control over the advanced AV setup. Clear audio delivery is ensured by a QSC digital signal processor paired with Bose speakers. Multiple input options, including PC, laptop, wireless, and USB connections, offer instructors flexibility in their teaching methods. For video, the room features a digital encoder and Aver tracking cameras, perfect for capturing and streaming lectures. The Shure ceiling microphone and Revolabs receiver ensure that all participants are heard clearly, whether they’re in the room or attending remotely. Powered by Innomate’s Innomesh platform, the Hybrid Teaching Space utilizes AV over IP (AVoIP) technology for efficient distribution and management of audio-visual content, making it a robust and future-proof solution for delivering high-quality hybrid learning experiences.
