T018 – Small Teaching Space
The Small Teaching Space at QUT is a compact, yet highly equipped environment designed to support modern teaching methods for groups of 10 to 25 participants. This room is ideal for focused educational sessions, blending cutting-edge AV technology with flexible control options to enhance both in-person and remote learning experiences. Central to this space is a Panasonic projector, paired with a ScreenTechnics motorized screen. Integrated video conferencing capabilities are supported by Space CE technology, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication for hybrid learning environments. Control is streamlined through the AMX touch panel, connected to an AMX local controller, offering intuitive management of the room’s various AV systems. The room’s audio setup is powered by a QSC DSP, delivering clear and precise sound through JBL speakers. The audio capture is handled by a Sennheiser ceiling microphone, ensuring high-quality audio for both in-room participants and remote attendees. The space is equipped with multiple PTZ Optics cameras, allowing for dynamic video capture and broadcasting during sessions. A Lumens document camera is available for presenting physical documents or objects. The integrated AV system is optimized for unified communications, featuring Innomate’s Innomesh platform for robust AV and unified communications support. This includes proactive monitoring via AVaaS and UCaaS solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
