The Dual Projector Room Link Teaching Lab at UQ is a versatile learning space for up to 25 participants, ideal for flexible teaching sessions and room-linking with adjacent labs. Central to the lab are two Sony projectors, delivering high-definition visuals across dual screens, perfect for multi-source presentations. Integrated with Space VC technology and a Logitech webcam, the lab supports seamless video conferencing. A Crestron touch panel offers intuitive control, while the Extron processor and Biamp Tesira DSP ensure reliable AV performance and superior audio. The lab is equipped with a Dell lectern PC, Elmo document camera, and Shure wireless microphone system for dynamic teaching. Additional features include an APC PDU, Echo360 recorder, Williams Sound infrared transmitter, and Axis network camera for enhanced audio and video capture. The room link capability allows seamless expansion by connecting with adjacent rooms, making this lab a flexible and powerful solution for modern education at UQ. The integrated AV system is optimized for unified communications, featuring Innomate’s Innomesh platform for robust AV and unified communications support. This includes proactive monitoring via AVaaS and UCaaS solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
