The T090 Medium Teaching Space at QUT is a versatile, mid-sized educational environment designed to support presenter-led instruction with flexible BYOD connectivity. Combining professional-grade Audio Visual and Unified Communications technologies, the room delivers a confident, classroom-ready AV experience. The space features a Panasonic PT-FRZ50 laser projector with a dedicated preview monitor, and a Kramer VSM-4x4A matrix switcher routing four source inputs — PC, HDMI, USB, and Screencast. A Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling array microphone alongside a Shure ULXD4D dual wireless receiver provides comprehensive audio coverage across three microphone channels, while two PT20X-4K PTZ cameras support lecture capture and visual engagement. Operating on an Audio Video over IP (AVoIP) infrastructure powered by Magewell NDI encoders and decoders, the room is controlled via an AMX VARIA-80 touch panel running Innomate’s HTML-based Innomesh interface. A QSC Q-SYS Core 8 Flex DSP handles all audio processing, and an Atlona occupancy sensor automates system shutdown for energy efficiency. Deployed across 17 rooms at QUT, the T090 is fully integrated into Innomate’s Innomesh AV SaaS Platform, ensuring reliable AV Room Control, proactive AV Remote Monitoring and Management, and seamless ongoing support through Innomate’s AVaaS and UCaaS models.
